“We were picked up at 6:45 our driver was lovely, then on to a guided tour which was fantastic!! We ordered a pack lunch which was well worth the money you only get a very short break from one camp to another so the pack lunch was ideal! “Very informative tour. Guide was very friendly and full of useful information. Cost was ok for what it is but I found out the guide was selling tickets for cheaper in person on site. Although, if a session is full when you arrive you’re out of luck so I suppose paying a bit more ahead of time is the cost of assuring a spot. He limits the number of participants in each group which is great because the museum has some small, tight spaces and hallways.”

“It was great. The driver was brilliant and friendly. The Salt Mines are amazing although the guide rushed us through quite quickly and as the group was quite big, it meant she had already started explaining about things before the whole of the group caught up, there wasn’t much time to have a good look. The best part was when we had ‘free time’ in the main hall to look around and really take it all in, it’s a stunning place and hard to believe it’s all made from salt.”

“Do not use Viator! We had a tour of Auschwitz booked and paid for for our family. No reply to all our messages beforehand, on the day of the trip nobody turned up at our hotel (as arranged) to take us on our tour. Viator said they will request that the tour operator refund our €400, but cannot guarantee that! Don't use Viator, terrible customer service and communications, waste of time and they basically steal your money.”

“Tour was brilliant. Very well organised, somebody meets you out front of the building, calls out your time slot and checks names, gets everyone set up with earphones for the tour. Then you meet the guide inside, skipping the queue. There is a cloackroom for belongings if needed. Guide was so knowlegeable. Tour lasted 2hrs approx. Nice little coffee shop/gift shop available after the tour.”

“We are shocked! Our departure time was changed from 8.10 am to 2.20 am after the free cancellation deadline has passed - just a few hours before departure. They justified this saying that there’s a lack of guides in Auschwitz and waiting time would therefore be about 4 hours. As we didn't see this information within 9 hours and hence didn't answer, they unilaterally cancelled our tour with the justification that we haven’t responded on time!
